Parkway Cruise

Onondaga County Parks and the Central New York Car Club Association are pleased to announce the 2nd annual Parkway Cruise.  The only vehicles allowed on the four lane Onondaga Lake Parkway during this special event will be registered participants in the 2009 Syracuse Nationals.   Spectators will be treated to a colorful mix of hot rods and classic cars from across America, cruising at 17 mph, on one of Central New York’s most picturesque roadways. Lawn seating will be available on both sides of the Parkway from the Griffin Visitor Center area to Sainte Marie among the Iroquois, with parking in the Onondaga Lake Park lots accessed from Old Liverpool Road, Willow Street, and Vine Street.

All cruise vehicles must enter from north end of the parkway at  the Heid's Intersection/First Street checkpoint with their  Syracuse Nationals window stickers displayed.
