2010 US National Snowshoe Championship Race

Saturday

• 8am - Course Preview/Event Registration/Athlete Check-In at Race Site
• 9am -  Junior Boys & Girls 5km National Championship event
• 10am - Senior Women’s 10km National Championship event
• 10am-3pm - Kidz Zone - an outdoor area where kids can enjoy outdoor games and activities - free.
  
• 11:30am - Senior Men’s 10km National Championship event
• 1pm -  Kid’s Kilo Snowshoe Run/Walk - $5 entry fee
  
• 1:15pm - Citizens 5K Snowshoe Run/Walk - $15 entry fee
  
• 3:30/4pm - Awards

 
Sunday

• 9am - Course Preview/Event Registration/Athlete Check-In for the 4 x 2.5kmSnowshoe Team Relay event. Event categories: Junior Boys & Girls, Open Men & Women, Masters Men & Women and Co-Ed Men & Women
  
• 10am -  4 x 2.5km Snowshoe Team Relay - $40 per team entry fee
  
• 11:30am - Awards & Closing of Championships

Items in bold are OPEN events which means that the general public can participate. Free loaner snowshoes will be available for the run/walks and relay.

Please note: While all regular park activities will be suspended on Saturday, spectators and participants in the public events listed above in bold are welcome. All trails will be closed, sleigh rides and rentals will not be available on Saturday, March 6 only.
